Roy (Trey) Farmer III

Mr. Farmer is a founding partner of BBF Partners and is also a co-founder and the current Vice-Chairman of Ton-Ko Komunikasyon Hizmetleri AS in Istanbul, Turkey. Ton-Ko, due to be launched in late 2006, is a new telecommunications carrier that will design, build and operate Turkey's first facilities-based, next-generation, fiber optic network.
Mr. Farmer is also on the Board of Directors of Ticaret Menkul Degerler AS, a leading Turkish Brokerage and Securities Firm.
Mr. Farmer has over 10 years of experience in the telecommunications, finance, publishing and marketing sectors. Mr. Farmer is on the Board of Directors of several US technology companies, both public and private, and has held senior executive positions in telecommunications, merchant banking and marketing. In addition, Mr. Farmer has initiated, built and managed the creation of several non-profit foundations serving business, cultural arts and medical needs worldwide.
Mr. Farmer is on the Board of Directors of FiberNet Telecom Group Inc. (Nasdaq:FTGX), a telecommunications carrier that designs, builds and operates integrated interconnection facilities and diverse transport routes in the two gateway markets of New York/New Jersey and Los Angeles. Mr. Farmer previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of FiberNet.
Prior to his involvement with FiberNet, Mr. Farmer was President of Sterling Capital LLC, a New York based technology and telecommunications hedge fund that also made private equity investments. He also worked with a strategic marketing and management consulting boutique founded by the former Vice Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer of McCann-Erickson Worldwide.
Mr. Farmer holds an AB degree in Classical Philosophy from Princeton University, a M.Phil/M.A.R degree from Yale University and a M.Ed degree from Harvard University.
Mr. Farmer has served on the Board of the London Symphony Orchestra-American Foundation, The Stress Center & Foundation at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City, the Princeton Campus Club in Princeton, New Jersey and Christ Church-The Anglican Chaplaincy in Istanbul.
