Mr. Gökdere has over 8 years of international experience in the marketing, telecommunications, project development, real estate, information technology, agriculture, forestry, beverage, and finance sectors. Over the past 4 years, Mr. Gökdere has played a leading role in the organization and implementation of several international projects based out of Turkey.
Mr. Gökdere is also a founder and board member of Ton-Ko Komunikasyon Hizmetleri AŞ in Istanbul, Turkey. Ton-Ko, due to be launched in late 2006, is a new telecommunications carrier that will design, build and operate Turkey's first facilities-based, next-generation, fiber optic network.
Mr. Gökdere also serves as a senior advisor to Flok Art Company, a leading textile company with operations in Turkey.
Mr. Gökdere previously held positions in product development and marketing with Mass Media and 724 Group, both of which operate in the information technology sector. Mr. Gökdere managed the development of new products in the multimedia sector and led various marketing teams. Mr. Gökdere also created the marketing strategies for the financial services company, Net Barter.
Mr. Gökdere completed a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Dumlupınar University in Kutahya, Turkey.
Mr. Gökdere has attended and participated in seminars in corporate management, marketing, sales and crisis management. He is fluent in Turkish with a working knowledge of English.
